Being healthy doesn’t end with food and fitness; a healthy lifestyle includes practicing positive behaviors, setting and achieving goals, overcoming barriers, resisting risky situations and developing self-confidence. The Club offers several programs that support the health of our members. 

SMART Moves

Participants in SMART Moves, aged 6-14, are exposed to various activities that hone their decision-making and critical-thinking skills so they can avoid and/or resist alcohol, tobacco, drugs and premature sexual activity.

SMART Girls

SMART Girls is a small-group health, fitness, prevention/education and self-esteem enhancement program for girls ages 9-14. Club girls explore their own and societal values as they build skills for eating right, staying physically fit, accessing good health care and developing positive relationships with peers and adults.

Passport to Manhood

Club boys, ages 9-14, learn about responsibility through fourteen sessions concentrating on various aspects of manhood. Each participant receives his own "passport” to underscore the notion that he is on a personal journey of growth.

Positive Sprouts

A comprehensive community gardening initiative, Positive Sprouts improves children’s habits of health and nutrition as members learn about nutrition, gardening practices and cooking from the garden.
Triple Play

Triple Play is a multi-faceted program for Club members ages 6-14, designed to help young people become healthy and active while learning new ways to handle stress, maintain a healthy body and form positive relationships.
