INVESTING IN THE CLUB IS INVESTING IN THE FUTURE

OF OUR COMMUNITIES.

Now, more than ever, the Club needs the support of our community so we can continue to meet the demand to provide a safe place for youth to learn and grow. There are a variety of ways to financially support our programs.

  • Partner with Us

Through a partnership with the Club, your company can invest in children and teens and the future of the communities we serve.

Learn more about our partnership opportunities here.

  • Matching Gifts

Employer matching gift programs are a way to easily double your donation when your employer matches the donation you make to the Club. Check with your local administration today to see if your company offers matching gifts. It's a simple way to give more to a cause you love.

  • Gifts of Stock

Stock gifts provide a tax advantage by allowing you to deduct the amount of the charitable donation and escape the unrealized gains on the donated stock. The gift of an asset, often common stock or mutual fund shares, is a valuable way to make a contribution to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton Harbor and receive tax benefits based on the value of the asset(s). When you contribute an appreciated security that you have owned for more than one year to the Clubs, you may receive a charitable income tax deduction for its full market value and avoid capital gains tax on the increase in value of the stock since your purchase. Contact us at info@bgcbh.org to learn more.

  • Planned Gifts

Making a planned gift through the Heritage Club ensures that the future needs of our youth are met by including the Club in your estate plan. We welcome the opportunity to discuss your plans with you and your financial advisors. We have literature available that outlines the major types of Planned Giving vehicles and the financial advantages each can offer within an overall estate plan.

  • In-Kind Gifts

Making an in-kind donation is a great way to contribute to the organization and help us reduce costs. We welcome in-kind service contributions, including legal work, marketing support, management consulting, filming, photography, and more. We also accept donated services and supplies that support our events, e.g. graphic design, printing, gift certificates, school supplies and holiday gifts.
